Mélodie Simond

Born in France, raised all over the world, Mélodie Simond has a keen understanding of how stories shape cultures. An insatiable addiction for literature has formed a thorough springboard for storytelling. Film school being the logical stepping stone, she graduated with a BA in film/video from Columbia College Chicago, where one leaves with an incredible scope in technical filmmaking. This has earned her films the recognition of high production value despite being created with very low costs.

Her daily blog is published weekly in the NYC-based webzine www.walruscomix.com. With all sorts of projects in the works, she’s always looking for new, talented, ambitious, fun people with whom to collaborate.

Richard Skrip

Richard Skrip was born in Hebron, IN and raised in Orland Park, IL. His first forays into film/video were shorts made with friends and the family's bulky VHS camcorder. After spending a year at the University of Illinois, Richard transferred to Columbia College Chicago to fully devote himself to film/video production. He graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's in film/video, concentrating in Film Direction and Editing.

Along with producing partner Mélodie Simond, Richard formed Eperon Productions in order to pursue the duo's ultimate goal; making dark, adventurous films that explore the obscure reaches of the human psyche. Of course, Richard also loves making comedic shorts, music videos, commercials, documentaries and industrials. Richard's two favorite places in the world: behind a lens and in the edit bay.
